Someone needs to explain to me why the United States Postal Service Postmaster General/Saboteur Louis DeJoy still has any government job, let alone one with the USPS. DeJoy, presumably as a side effect of his relentless efforts to kill the USPS, was instrumental in interfering with the 2020 election. With a raging pandemic making voting in person a frightening prospect for millions of Americans, and a raging psychotic in the White House doing everything possible to steal the election, protect the COVID-19 virus and kill Americans, DeJoy purposefully sabotaged the Postal Service, employing every means to slow down the delivery of all mail – particularly mail-in ballots – which he ramped up as the election drew near.

With all the fake talk of voter fraud and election tampering, and the stolen election caterwauling, the stop-the-stealers conveniently ignored the most overt attempt to stymie voters all across the country. The Second Amendment fetishists believe the rest of the Constitution is just window dressing for their right to bear their arms, teeth and rampant ignorance. They have no time for things like Article I, which merely lays out the entire make-up of the governing system the founders sought to create. Sections 1 through 7 spell out the design and duties of the Congress and Section 8 enumerates little things like collection of taxes, regulating commerce and coining money. And then, even before punishing piracy, setting up and creating an army and navy and something about a Militia, there is significant mention of Congress having the power to “Establish Post Offices and Post roads.”

In 2006 the Postal Service was hamstrung with a requirement to prefund its pension for 75 years – a requirement that would likely kill any business before it could ever get off the ground. Of course, the USPS is not a business. It is a constitutionally mandated SERVICE that the government is required to provide for the benefit of its citizens. Unfortunately, one of the two major political parties believes that the government has no other duty than to aid and abet the maintenance and expansion of wealth for the wealthy. Oh, and people having enough guns to take over local school boards, state government and polling places. Public services, according to Ratpublicans are nothing more than a drain on the wealthiest among us.

As with every other post presidents are permitted and required to fill, Donald Turmp, as he did with every single appointment, found the absolute worst scumbag to ru(i)n the United States Postal Service – Louis DeJoy.

The very definition of conflict of interest, the demise of the USPS was his plan all along.  DeJoy has served as a major donor and fundraiser for a number of high-profile Ratpublican politicians. With DeJoy at the helm, the USPS awarded a $120 million contract to XPO Logistics, a company he helped run and “with which his family maintains financial ties.”

Calls for DeJoy's termination have intensified in recent months, as his conflicts of interest and past fundraising activities continue to draw scrutiny from watchdogs and the FBI. WTFF.

And yet DeJoy remains Postmaster General. Why? I know Joe Biden is very busy trying to pull this country back from Turmp’s abyss and all, but the USPS is in the Constitution, and many Americans still depend on timely mail delivery for things like medication. So, come on man, fire this corporate whore who continues his onslaught on the Post Office.

It’s The Capitalism Stupid

Joe Manchin is up to his beady little eyeballs in coal money. He is just another greedy motherfucker, the poster bitch for Big Coal and the fossil fuel industry in general. Manchin could be chopped up (not saying he should be; that would be inappropriate – almost as inappropriate as Manchin scuttling the agenda for which Joe Biden, and not Joe Manchin, was overwhelmingly elected president of the United States) and used by Santa as stocking stuffers for the naughty kids on his list. This is somewhat understandable, him being from West Virginia and all.

Manchin is like the sleazy pusher in the schoolyard, hawking another addictive, deadly, black substance – heroin. Manchin’s heroin and heroine is coal. He is addicted. He is a dickhead. At this point everyone knows that switching over to renewable energy sources protects our air, water, and very survival, while simultaneously stimulating the economy. Yes, some will have to transition away from occupations that are killing the planet (and them). Any short-term financial trauma that may be incurred by regular working folk during the transition could be easily offset by reversing the wholly unnecessary and insane Turmp tax cut for the wealthiest among us, and using that money for niceness instead of evil. Rather than telling his constituents that it is time for them to learn another trade – one that doesn’t destroy their lungs, or get them buried alive in a mine collapse – he tosses them under the coal car saying, “Keep doing what you’re doing fellas. You’ll love it. It’s a way of life.” Oh right, Manchin is different; he wears a suit and tie.

Maybe I forgot, maybe I never knew, maybe I blocked it out in order to preserve what little sanity and peace of mind I still possess. Joe Manchurian is the chairman of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources. That’s like having the fossil fuel industry writing our laws on environmental policy…oh, wait, that’s been going on forever. Even after research funded by Exxon and others found incontrovertible evidence that fossil fuels would be the death of us all, something they knew full well in the 1970s. Manchin is a human IED designed to take out the planet. We’d be better off putting a giant asteroid hurtling inexorably toward the Earth in charge of environmental protection.

Manchin is vehemently if not in fact violently opposed to protecting the environment. This fucker had a campaign ad with him shooting up progressive environmental legislation.

Although, completely dead would be so much better.

What If They Held A Rally In Support Of Felonious Traitors And Nobody Came

Today is the last full day of summer. The 2021 fall equinox is tomorrow at 3:21 p.m. Eastern. While life on planet Earth goes on (for now, at least), and one season morphs into the next, the Season of Stupid ushered in by the descent of the Orange Gas Cloud down his golden escalator, and the consequent descent of the United States into overt racism, wannabe fascism and sheer madness, steamrolls on unabated.

In case you blinked and missed it, MAGAts who continue to support the hundreds of jailed insurrectionists whose attempted coup d'état, incited by Donald Turmp and a number of members of Congress, held a massive rally outside the scene of the crime. Brainless representatives like Hitler fanboy Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) implied that there might be “bloodshed” if “our election systems continue to be rigged and continue to be stolen,” that is, should any Ratpublican ever lose another election.

As the head instigator, Turmp’s prodigious bluster/whining was curiously absent prior to the “big” event. Not one of the dozen or so loud-mouthed traitorous members of Congress who were so supportive of the original assault, and offered words of support for their captured comrades, had the guts to show up for round two of the coup.

The would-be/but-wasn’t massive J6 rally was held to show solidarity with those they delusionally insist are “political prisoners,” if by political prisoners they mean violent, criminal trespassers, who destroyed public property – The Capitol – beat the crap out of law enforcement, and attempted to interfere with the Constitutionally-mandated certification of the 2020 presidential election. While it is true that there are now some 600 prisoners, incarcerated as a result of their political ignorance, aberrance and violence, there is some debate as to why they are being held. One side is certifiably insane, demanding justice for the January 6 insurrectionists, the other understands that smashing your way into the Capitol, and assaulting law enforcement officers while hunting down members of Congress for the purpose of either kidnapping or murdering them, particularly when the whole thing was captured on video, is inappropriate behavior.

To be fair, I am also in favor of justice for the so-called J6 prisoners, but I assume the justice I hope to see, being steeped in reality, is not the same justice Braynard, et few are imagining in their fascistic fever dreams. it might also be worth noting that many of these "wrongly imprisoned" super geniuses got locked up because they bragged about committing treason on F#*$book, Instagram, to family and friends, and to random strangers they met online with the hope of dating them.

Fortunately, since Turmp and his kowtowing Congress-cowards seemed disinclined to rev up their very fine people who still insist that the loser of the election actually won, the hapless halfwits were outnumbered by three different groups: law enforcement, members of the press, and counter-protesters. Unlike the January 6 terrorist attack on the Capitol, the pathetic sequel was free of violence. Both of the attendees managed to contain themselves without committing any violent crimes. Who says you can’t teach old white supremacist traitor fucks new tricks?

Some close to the disgraced, twice-impeached, single-term, seditious ex-president are telling anyone unfortunate enough to hear them that their lord and pussy-grabber is “somewhere between 99 and 100 percent” likely to run for the office he was landslided out of on November 3, 2020. This is another completely unnecessary and largely unwanted scummer rerun.

Naturally, Turmp himself continues to tease the next-season opener. I am looking forward to seeing him hanging from a cliff – I believe that is how they say it in the entertainment biz…when they’re not busy eating children in non-existent pizza parlor basements.

While fake reality star Turmp’s attempt at a bummer rerun is no surprise, it is exceedingly nauseating and only slightly less frightening than ending up on a ventilator with COVID. My question at the moment is shouldn’t he stop running in 2020 before moving on to 2024?

Despite his absolute shellacking at the polls in 2020, Turmp refused to admit defeat. He begged his Lap-Veep Mike Pence to override the Constitution and the election by not fulfilling his ceremonial duty to certify the election results on January 6, 2021. For his part, Pence left no stone unturned in search of a loophole to hand his master. After all options were found untenable, including a desperate call to Dan Quayle (Dan Quayle? Really?), Pence was forced to tell Donnie Dearest that he had no choice but to carry out his constitutionally mandated duty. To which Turmp replied, “No, no, no! You don't understand, Mike. You can do this. I don't want to be your friend anymore if you don't do this.” Awww, poor Mikey. Just kidding, fuck Mike Pence. There are countless three-year-olds with more maturity than pathetic hot air buffoon Turmp.

And what, you might not ask, will Turmp’s new platform be? Our intrepid reporter T. Doff risked life and lunch by going undercover to learn some of the dirty little secrets poised to become filthy big campaign planks in the next failed Turmp campaign to make America sick again:

          People of color, across the nation will only be permitted to vote between 3:30 and 4:58 on Election Day, and that will include any time spent waiting in line. This is designed to make it much easier for these America haters to vote. It has nothing to do with the color of their skin – that’s our story and we’re sticking to it. We have yet to determine whether this will be AM or PM.

          Votes from California, New York, Massachusetts, Vermont and certain parts of Pennsylvania will no longer be counted as part of the popular vote. Other states that tend to vote for the wrong party will be on double secret probation.

          Masks, vaccines and any other measures other than the introduction of disinfectant and very powerful lights into the body will be outlawed as treatments for COVID or any other pandemics we might try to encourage. This has nothing to do with the fact that people of color are much more likely to die from such diseases than white people – that’s our story and we’re sticking to it.

          Any state that votes for a Democrat will immediately be subjected to a state-wide audit to be performed by secret companies that have no experience carrying out election audits, and are hired by Ratpublicans.

          Losing both the popular and Electoral College votes will not be sufficient to defeat any Ratpublican presidential candidate.

          We will petition the Extreme Court verify that America is a white nation that graciously tolerates dark-skinned people who will be immediately arrested for any perceived actions, words or thoughts that might infringe on this law.

We will continue to pack the court system with young, objectively unqualified, rabidly partisan hacks who will upend law after law, regardless of precedent, moral clarity, or relationship to democracy.

This is what we believe in. This is what we will do. Death to America.

There are quite a few more rotten planks that no one should risk walking on, let alone including in a major political party’s platform intended to become our nation’s policy. It was difficult enough hearing them. I am hoping I will be able to forget this entire assignment.

As if the party of Turmp needed to bolster their psychotic pshithead bona fides, a recent poll found that 78% (it was “only” 70% in April) of the Ratpublican electorate do not believe that Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election. Seventy-eight percent. Almost eight-out-of-ten self-proclaimed patriots. At least I assume the question was about the 2020 presidential election. On Earth. It is entirely possible that these knuckle-dragging nimrods were thinking about an election on a planet in the vicinity of Betelgeuse. Perhaps they were agitated about an election stolen from Zaphod Beeblebrox, or Jabba the Hutt, or Q (the real Q) in his effort to become Galactic Overlord.

Q: “Frankly, we did win this election.”

Polling also shows that 54 percent of these maniacal misfits continue to believe that there is “solid evidence” that Biden did not win, despite never having seen or heard one single shred of solid evidence, liquid evidence or even aerosolized evidence. In fact, more than 60 court cases concluded that there was no such evidence. This includes Pillow Man’s marathon cyber event purported to finally make public the reams of hard evidence proving Turmp won in 2020. The event landed with a dull thud, with a claim of not being able to actually show the evidence for fear of it being “hacked.”

And these are the people vociferously accusing Joe Biden of being mentally unfit.

Much was made of the 20^th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. I understand the need to keep the memory alive. The physical destruction, the emotional and social damage, not to mention the rending of our democracy, and the recently ended 20-year war that marked our government’s response. Perhaps worst of all, was how that day not only salvaged George WTF Bush and his ventriloquist Dick Cheney’s nose-diving presidency, but likely assured them a second term. It was a unique and traumatic day in American history, whatever one’s feelings or leanings might be.

I cannot help but wonder however, what the 20^th anniversary of the January 6^th insurrection/assault on the Capitol will be like. Will there be a recognition that although many more Americans died as a result of the 9/11 attack, the assault was perpetrated by foreign terrorists and only indirectly funded and aided and abetted by Americans, whereas on January 6^th the terror was completely homegrown, well-funded by white-wing fanatics, and aided and abetted by the sitting president of the United States and the vast majority of the political party he had by the balls?

One thing both 9/11 and 1/6 had in common was the onslaught of warnings each White House received. While 9/11 plunged America into an illegal war, the Orwellian-named PATRIOT Act – which would have made Francisco Franco blush if he wasn’t still dead – the episode resulted in frighteningly few lessons learned. Will we learn anything from the January 6 investigation, which the Party responsible for inciting the terror attack on the Capitol and our democratic institutions and continues to lionize those who carried out the insurrection is desperate to squelch?

What the two events did not have in common is that 9/11 did not see Democrats take the side of al Queda, or even blame the Bush/Cheney administration for the attack, though there was plenty of blame to go around. The Ratpublican Party has been all-but-all-in on the January 6 domestic terror attack. With rare exception, the party of Turmp fell right in line with the domestic terrorists because each and every one of those seditious shitheads is an unwavering, irredeemable Ratpublican. The domestic terrorists are an essential segment of the Ratpublican base and most of their chosen representatives in Congress are part of the sedition caucus.

Will we also remember that Donald Turmp was responsible for literally 100 times as many deaths as those who perished on 9/11 thanks to his sociopathically irresponsible response to the COVID pandemic? Over the course of two months, nearly a year into the pandemic Turmp nurtured, the U.S. averaged more deaths per day than those lost on 9/11. Many, if not most of those lost to the virus were, and continue to be directly attributable to Turmp’s actions. And that’s not counting those who died from drinking disinfectant, per his instructions.

As always, history is written by the victors, or at times by those who are able to convince the world that they won. Who will end up being the winner of the January 6^th insurrection? And who will actually prevail in the writing of its history.

Disrespect This Elder…With Extreme Prejudice

I guess this is the new thing: Ratpublicans are going to play Chicken Little for every single fucking election from here to eternity. Turmp did it constantly throughout the 2016 election season, and again for about two years prior to getting unquestionably crushed by Joe Biden in 2020. Turmp and other fascist fuckers are at it again – preparing for the impending California governor recall by preemptively whining that the election is rigged. This has now become a raison d'être for Ratpublicans, who without benefit of all manner of anti-democratic machinations would have trouble winning elections for dog catcher in most parts of this country. They damn sure would never have a majority in the House.

George H.W. Bush was the last Ratpublican to have won the popular vote for president. His idiot son does not count since he “achieved” his incumbency by virtue of being appointed president by the Extreme Court after they stopped Florida (whose governor at the time was Jeb Bush, and whose secretary of state was Katherine Harris, who infamously – and illegally – purged Florida’s voter rolls of some 100,000 mostly black voters) from actually counting their votes, though he still lost the popular vote the first time around. Instead of risking legitimate elections, Ratpublicans are happy to replace faith in elections with insane lies and voter suppression and disenfranchisement.

And, just in case poisoning the well ahead of time is not enough to guarantee their pyrrhic victory, Ratpublicans are not afraid to stop vote counting, threaten election officials and/or mount fraudulent election audits. They are secure in their knowledge that any election they win is legitimate and any election they lose was merely a result of rigging, cheating and voter fraud, which every single study and investigation has shown does not exist to any significant extent, and to the extent it does occur, is almost always by Ratpublican voters. Recall that they sent a mob of paid white men in suits to sabotage the counting of votes in Florida, setting the stage for the Extreme Court to step in and illegally appoint George WTF Bush.

Right now the totally psychotic talk-radio host Larry Elder, who has made a career of espousing white supremacist talking points, is chirping about how the upcoming recall election in California is rigged. Elder, who recently opined that descendants of slave owners are the ones who deserve reparations, not the descendants of slaves, because – and I am not making this shit up – at the time, slavery was legal and slave owners had their property and livelihood taken from them with no compensation whatsoever. Move over Ben Carson, whose statement that slave ships were filled with hopeful immigrants with dreams of a better life in the New World, seem almost quaint in comparison. I said ‘almost.’

Did I mention that like Ben Carson Larry Elder is not white? Larry Elder is not white. In fact, to the untrained eye, he appears to be of African heritage, but only because of the color of his skin, not by the content of his character. Elder is the current frontrunner should Gavin Newsome lose his bid to avoid being recalled. Elder also insists that there were “shenanigans” in the 2020 presidential election and has been accused by his ex-fiancée of waving a gun at her.

And lastly, Elder is a huge fan of Stephen Miller, Turmp’s top nazi/advisor/screech writer, and thinks Miller should be president. Of the United States. Of America.

Some wonder if this might have any effect on the congresswoman’s blind devotion to fossil fuels. Did I mention she has more guns than Canada?

Georgia’s Taylor Goon, who within days of being sworn in, was stripped of all committee assignments due to her overzealous assholery and has been kicked off Twitter several times for anti-vax rhetoric, also compared mask mandates to the murder of 6,000,000 Jews by the Nazis. Her excuse for comparing the need to protect ourselves and each other by simply wearing masks during a deadly worldwide pandemic was that she is just too fucking stupid to know that by comparing mask mandates to the torture and death of 6,000,000 Jews during the Nazi Holocaust, she was comparing mask mandates to the torture and death of 6,000,000 Jews during the Nazi Holocaust.

So, it's Labor Day. When all Americans honor the working stiff, especially the proud tradition of this country’s labor unions. Oh wait, must have been a dream. The unions assured members of a fair wage. They gave us the 40-hour work week* and the weekend. Unions have had their problems, but overall, just about everyone would be worse off had unions not emerged. Everyone that is, except those at the very top, who continue to fight to keep every penny that their workers make for them. Still opposing a living minimum wage, ‘til the day they die. And on this Labor Day, 7.5 million Americans are losing the temporary unemployment benefits that were instituted because of the pandemic.But that’s not why I asked you here today.

The McConnell-stolen/Turmp-packed Extreme Court decided to turn a deaf ear to the insane and draconian anti-choice law now in effect in the hate state of Texas. The one-paragraph unsigned statement by the Court passed on hearing the lack of pros and myriad cons of the new Texas death sentence to abortion rights in America.

Ironically, while Texas Ratpublicans fight for the non-existent lives of cell masses inside women’s bodies, they are also fighting to kill fully living people with their new Wild-West-esque gun-totin’ laws, and fighting to extinguish the votes of completely formed individuals -mostly people of color, of course – with their new-Jim-Crow voting restrictions. Not to mention, Texas is happy to let its citizens die because of outdated infrastructure, and from all its anti-vax/anti-mask state-mandated insanity. So it turns out the only time these numbnuts even accept that science exists is when it comes to abortion, and they get it completely wrong. But I digress.

Who would have guessed that beer-boofing-bozo Brett Kavanaugh was lying through is rape-denying teeth and crocodile tears when, in order to secure her vote to confirm his ill-gotten, ill-advised nomination to the Extreme Court, he promised Susan Collins that he would respect legal precedent and the Constitution (though certainly not women), in particular regarding Roe v. Wade. Simply shocking…I mean, predictable; both Kavanaugh’s raging dishonesty and Susan Collins’ pathetic idiocy. Although to be fair, it is possible that Collins is also full of feces. In any event, fuck Susan Collins.

Now Texans can open-carry guns in public without needing a permit or any training in the use of guns. Of course, Texans can also concealed-carry brains without a permit or any inkling on how to use brains.

And with the new Texas anti-abortion law, Texans will be permitted to use their guns – but not their brains – and shoot anyone they believe might be even thinking about getting an abortion or anyone with any contact with anyone even thinking about getting an abortion. Five ultra-conservative Supreme Court justices, in the dead of night, without commenting on their single-paragraph decision, has allowed Texas to flaunt the Constitution and long-repeatedly-settled law, and has for all intents and purposes set the stage for overturning Roe v. Wade, making abortion illegal in the United States. Even conservative Chief Justice John Roberts chastised his five fellow assholes for their disgraceful behavior. Roberts is now powerless to control the “veto-proof” majority of the Extreme Court as it now stands.

Nearly two-thirds of the American public supports a woman’s right to choose what to do with her body.

There are too many mental defectives who only support a woman’s right to control whether or not they have to wear a mask to protect public health, but not the right to control the rest of their body, even in cases of rape or incest.

Some, I Assume, Are Very Good People

As the Jan 6 Commission plows ahead with its investigation into the terrorist attack on the Capitol, which as much as anything exemplified the last throes of white supremacy’s desperate struggle for survival, I am reminded that descendants of slaves have been instrumental in pushing this nation toward becoming a "more perfect union" and pulling America's ass out of various fires forever. Some people never learn.

One of those descendants, Ben Carson, renowned neurosurgeon, second-most-absurd 2016 presidential candidate (the most absurd, of course went on to win) and all-around numb-nuts, said this about his ancestors, “That’s what America is about. A land of dreams and opportunity. There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder for less. But they too had a dream that one day their sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great-grandsons, great-granddaughters might pursue prosperity and happiness in this land.” Ouch. I imagine that the only dream those in the bottom of slave ships dreamt about was waking up from they surely hoped was either nightmare or dreadful hallucination.

Sure, there have been quite a few white folks who were game-changers in their day, but it is much easier for someone who is not either personally or generationally beaten down to stand up for what is right, and naturally, white folks have always had a different stake in protecting this nation, since they have always (at the very least acted like they) owned the place, often protecting the nation from threats they either imagined or created. And repeatedly, Black Americans have had to save America from itself.

From Crispus Attucks, the son of a slave father and a Native American mother, who had escaped slavery – the first to be killed by British soldiers on March 5, 1770 during the Boston Massacre, which paved the way for the American Revolution. It is very possible that Attucks was minding his own business and was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. So, possibly the first innocent black man in America gunned down by law enforcement.

To Rosa Parks, iconic figure in the Civil Rights Movement who got arrested for refusing to demean herself, preferring to sit where she chose on a bus. Many Black Lives have been ended by law enforcement for much less in more recent times.

To Frank Wills – the Watergate security guard who helped put an end to the dishonest, war-crime addled, paranoid administration of Richard Nixon. Wills foiled the June 17, 1972, break-in at the Democratic National Committee inside the Watergate complex in Washington, D.C. by calling the police after discovering that locks at the complex had been tampered with. Wills’ life was fairly well ruined for his trouble.

To Capitol Police Officer Eugene Goodman who, during the January 6, 2021 United States Capitol attack, diverted the crazed rioters from the United States Senate chamber, almost certainly saving the lives of many legislators on whose heads Turmp’s mob had placed bounties.

To Capitol Officer Harold Dunn who was repeatedly called the n-word by Turmp’s Treasonous Tourists. Dunn continued to do his job and eventually testified before the Jan 6 Commission, “Telling the truth shouldn’t be hard. Fighting on January 6^th, that was hard. Showing up on January 7^th, that was hard… Liz Cheney and Adam Kinsinger are being lauded as courageous heroes. And while I agree with that notion, why? Because they told the truth? Why is telling the truth hard? I guess in this America it is.”

And if not for Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd, who shot the unfortunate idiot tourorist Ashli Babbit, there is a good chance Turmp’s minions would have executed some number of legislators. In return, Byrd whose not-white hand can be seen in the Jan 6 video, poised to protect Congress, yet hoping his orders to stand down would be obeyed so no shot need be fired, has been relentlessly attacked by white wing media (often referred to as “right wing media”) as a murderer of a martyr. Byrd again risked life and limb by doing a nationally televised interview with Lester Holt, despite repeated death threats and other assorted slurs of a nature one could guess with little effort.

And lastly, for the time being, Rep. Bennie Thompson, 14-term Congressman from Mississippi and the lone Democrat in the Mississippi Congressional Delegation and current Chair of the House Committee on Homeland Security, steps into the breach. Thompson now chairs the House of Representatives’ select committee on the January 6^th insurrection. Thompson is intent on following every lead, turning over every stone in order to learn the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth about Jan 6 and all pertinent events leading up to it. Many white people will not look fondly upon Mr. Thompson – especially those people (all of whom will not coincidentally be white) on the wrong end of his subpoenas and those (other white people) who blindly follow them.

Meanwhile, all the white Ratpublicans who are supporting the insurrection, and attempting to hold up the terrorists who invaded the Capitol to stop the certification of the free and fair election of Joe Biden as patriotic heroes, refuse to have anything to do with the search for the non-alternative facts.
