‘Twas The Night Before Midterms

‘Twas the night before midterms,
And all through the land,
Many people were hoping,
To get rid of a psychotic, traitorous, grifting, violently arrogant
and stupid, sleazy tumor of a man.
The voters have sent in,
Or will soon make their choices,
Unless the FBI or ICE
Shoots them dead or stifles their voices.
The nation’s on eggshells,
And voting with care,
But knowing full well that on Wednesday
Trump still will be there.
But vote as we must and vote as we will,
And hope beyond hope to stop feeling so ill.
To end this stupidity and stop Trump’s agenda
Else his dictatorship presidency may never end-a.
