It is
not unlikely that Don chose Pete Hegseth (et al) because he looks good on the
tv. Hegseth will be too busy with his AA meetings to actually do the job, so we
really don’t have to worry about him fucking up the Department of Defense beyond
recognition. The person (i.e., white guy) who will actually be running the DoD –
someone who will remain in the shadows – will surely be much more dangerous.
