A Friendly, If Painful Reminder

It’s Not Just A House, It’s A Home…Our Home...And It's Our Fucking House

June 4, 2025

Naturally, when things go awry normal people respond. Be it with disbelief, denial, grief, fear, loathing, anger, sadness, despair, or even discorporation. At some point, at least according to mental health professionals, we must reconcile, perhaps forgive, but at the very least we must find a way to move on.

However, there are certain events that must not be forgotten, no matter how painful, no matter how great the desire to cleanse the mind, bury the memory, and attempt to put them behind us. And no matter how much time has passed, unless and until the depredation has been put right, if that is at all possible.

There is a fine line though as regards the timing of the need to relegate things to a safely sequestered out-of-mind place. While the immediate release and relief that might come with putting something traumatic in the past might feel good in the moment, it is not healthy to push something uncomfortable out of consciousness too soon, without fully processing or better still, repairing and reconciling .

It is with this in mind that Paying Attention™ feels we must disrupt any misguided, purposeful or otherwise, and however satisfying attempt to shoo away the memory of the wanton destruction of the People’s House by a swinish conman, a sexual predator and adjudicated rapist, (alleged, though not for long) pedophile, and a 34-time convicted felon. We are not talking about some nefarious global cabal here. This is a one-man smorgasbord of criminal activity. It’s name is Donald Jeffrey Epstein Trump.

Much has happened since we first learned of this heinous hack’s demolition-without-warning of the East Wing of the White House.

We must not let this image, this much-too-on-the-nose symbol of Trump’s thus far successful attempt at total demolition of, not just the symbols of the Great American Experiment, but of our actual system of government and way of life, fade from memory.

America would do well to keep this near front of mind…

until it is returned to its original state

Trump is spending billions of our tax dollars, after stripping funding from critical services, including  the government subsidy for Obamacare, dissolving USAID, and gutting our federal government while simultaneously embroiling us in his illegal, unwarranted, debacular war in Iran, and crashing the economy.

Not to mention his $1.776B (give me a fucking break) sedition-support slush fund, all for his deeply unpopular, tasteless and grotesque vanity projects. It appears that the slush fund may be dead in the water, so since Donny is such a stand-up guy he should dip into his massive fortune, which has grown by creeps and scoundrels during his criminal presidency, and pay off all his cherished patri-nots out of his own pocket. Yeah, that’ll happen.

When this flaccid fuckwit is finally forced out of Our House, not only should he not get his security deposit back, but he should be forced to pay every single dime required to return the Remains of The White House to its original state. And he should pay to restore the rest of the pathetic, self-aggrandizing, classless, hideous bullshit he has foisted upon us because he knows damn well that once he is gone no one worth a shit will want to remember him, let alone have his name, face or any reminder forced on them.

I. Mangrey reminding. Don’t even get me stopped.
