You may have forgotten, because why wouldn’t you if you’re a mentally healthy individual with better things to think about, Jack Smith was a world-class investigator and prosecutor. Much of his time was spent at The Hague bringing justice to rancid, rapacious do-badders the world over. The one good thing, albeit much too late, that Merrick Garland did during his tenure as attorney general of the United States under Joe Biden was to select Jack Smith as special prosecutor to investigate American scumbag Donald Trump’s massive theft of classified documents and his part in the January 6, 2021 insurrection in service to his fervent desire to overturn the free and fair election of Joe Biden.

Smith, whose valiant efforts to hold accountable those, particularly the head of the snake, responsible for the Jan 6 insurrection, finally testified before Congress. He wanted to testify publicly, but his request was denied. Smith was very clear that the one person responsible for the attack on the Capitol was none other than Donald J. Trump. Smith testified that without Trump the January 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol “does not happen”. This might be why Fascist/Trump Party water-carrier and sex-crime-enabler Jim Jordan, chairmonkey of the House Judiciary Committee, released the transcript and video of Smith’s extremely damning testimony at a time when the fewest possible people would be paying attention, which is exactly what they did. Weeks after his testimony, on New Year’s Eve. Some of us were, however, Paying Attention™. You can scum, but you can’t hide.

Jack Smith: The evidence here made it clear that President Trump was, by a large measure, the most culpable and most responsible person in this conspiracy. These crimes were committed for his benefit. The attack that happened at the Capitol, as part of this case does not happen without him. The other co-conspirators were doing this for his benefit. So, in terms of why we would pursue a case against him, I entirely disagree with any characterization that our work was meant in any way to hamper him in the presidential election. I would never take orders from a political leader to hamper another person in an election.

Questioner: So, did you develop evidence that President Trump was responsible for the violence at the Capitol on January 6^th?

Smith: Our view of the evidence is that he caused it and that he exploited it. And that it was foreseeable to him.

Questioner: But you don’t have any evidence that he instructed people to crash the Capitol, do you?

Smith: As I said, our evidence is that he, in the weeks leading up to January 6^th created a level of distrust. He used that level of distrust to get people to believe fraud claims that weren’t true. He gave false statements to state legislators, to his supporters, in all sorts of contexts, and was aware in the days leading up to January 6^th that his supporters were angry when he invited them, and then he directed them to the Capitol.

Jack Smith testified under oath (something Traitor Trump could never do, at least not without perjuring himself), finally getting the chance to explain the findings of the exhaustive investigation that was stymied by Trump fangirl/make-believe judge Aileen “Move-Over-Benedict-Arnold” Cannon and then buried alive after Trump’s re-election. Our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 election and to prevent the lawful transfer of power.
