Thought For The Day

By Any Means Necessary
August 10, 2018
The 2018-2019 NFL season has begun.  The Philadelphia Eagles are the defending champions.  The Eagles’ Malcolm Jenkins has been a leader in the peaceful, respectful protests during the playing of the National Anthem.

No one shows less respect for everything this nation stands for than President Brainspurs who continues his pretense of being appalled by these actions and is now threatening to suspend players without pay for protesting this way.  The emperor has no brains.

Eyes on the prize, and I don’t mean another Super Bowl win (not that there’s anything wrong with that).
This has been your Paying Attention Thought For The Day.
You're welcome.
What is your thought for the day?

Happy Resignation Day(s) - Day Two

One More Kick to The Dick

August 9, 2018
Well, here we are again, the end of another great holiday season, and the culmination of the celebration of the obliteration of the cancer on our nation.
The ultimate in FAKE NEWS, straight from the horse’s ass
2018

What about treason?  Collusion/conspiracy?  Obstruction of justice?  Racism/fascism?

I was not sure I had it in me at this point, but I have managed to add a few new verses for 2018.  I don’t think it can be considered post-traumatic while the horror persists, but I have no doubt that many of us have a clinically significant stress disorder at this very moment.  I look forward to the day when it can be truly post-traumatic.  For now, I hope I am able to bring a little distraction your way on this lovely Resignation Day(s), and every day.  Enjoy!

Lock her up, drain the swamp, I won, build the wall
He screams and he tweets, he hates us all.
Though he loves his Nazis and supremacists white
And watches himself on TV ev’ry night.

The people’s true enemy, that Electoral College,
Gave us Bush and then Chrump, two goons with no knowledge,
Of democracy, Constitution or language,
Less at home with working than swinging a sand wedge.

Chrump’s brain is so bad, his words so much worse,
We hope against hope that Bob Mueller’s his curse.
When he finally goes down, wants to take us all with him
Chrump cares about nothing but his toxic nar’sism.

He bashes the media, though than him no one’s faker
We need him to just go and jump in a lake…Er,
I meant for a swim not to drown, that’s no shit.
Such talk is illegal, unless the president does it.
Impeachment, resigning once more fill the air,
Now dash away blob with your FAKE orange “hair”,
This Chrump works for Putin, and amplifies hate,

He’s racist, he’s fascist; ain’t America great?

Though mostly Chrump’s tweeting and golfing galore,
He’s doing great damage, let’s show him the door.
Fake “hair”, phony color, his face sphincter speaks,
Let’s vote like we mean it and be rid of this freak.

Colluding, conspiring, with Russia, oh no!
Won’t tell his own people what he said to our foe.
This treasonous cretin makes us all sick and tired,
Let’s pray the next Congress will tell him, “YOU’RE FIRED.”

Remember The Swamp?
Remember the cries to drain it?
It looks pretty good from here.
To paraphrase Darn Leader, “Wouldn’t you love to see Congress, when somebody disrespects our Constitution, to say get that sonofabitch out of the White House right now, out?  He’s fired…he’s FIRED!”
Wishing you all a joyous year until next Resignation Day(s), and hoping for another, even better resignation before then.  I bet Mexico would pay for that in a heartbeat.  Fuck the wall! Lock him up! Make him resign! Make him resign! Make him resign!
Let a smile be your umbrella, but don’t get a mouthful of rain.

Resignation Day(s) - Day One

Happy Resignation Day One

August 8, 2018
Our coverage of the Resignation Day(s) festivities continues on this, Day One of the celebration of the beginning of the end of the ill-gotten presidency of Richard Nixon.  This is, of course the date when we all learned that we would have the cancer on the presidency removed.  Thankfully, this would not mean that we would not have Dick Nixon to kick around anymore.  That practice, at least in certain circles, continues to this day.  And well it should.

Watergate was characterized as “a third-rate burglary” by first-rate whack-job Nixon.  Tricky Dick was so paranoid, that he brought in a crew of imbeciles to break into his opponent’s headquarters, only to have them screw up royally.  The door they duct-taped open on at the Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC on June 17, 1972 was ultimately discovered and reported to police by night watchman Frank Wills – an American hero whose good deed did not go unpunished.  Wills lost his job for his excellent, and ultimately historic work.  Nixon lost his job only after his party realized that unless the jettisoned their leader, they would all go down with the shit.

The late, great Gil Scott-Heron
So many “gates” have come and gone since that fateful day in 1974.  Reagan’s Iran-Contragate – selling arms to Iran to fund Nicaraguan Contras, Clinton’s Monicagate – sex with an intern, Cheney’s Plamegate – outing a vital CIA operative (one of these gates is not like the others) and many others, all endeavored to ride the coattails of Nixon’s Watergate. Even today, we find ourselves embroiled in Don Chrump’s Russia-gate thanks to the allegedly alleged COLLUSION, conspiracy, connivance and corruption, of Donald Chrump, his namesake, his daughter, his son-in-law, his campaign manager, his personal attorney, his national security advisors, his attorney general, and countless others.
Our favorite gate here at Paying Attention is still the original, although admittedly, we have high hopes this latest gate will be the greatest gate.  Nothing could be more satisfying than ridding this land of The Orange Gas Cloud that threatens to suffocate us all.  I hope the Democrats will have the brains and balls to do to Chrump’s legacy what Der Furor has done to Obama’s.  Though nothing can replace Watergate and the Fall of Nixon, today’s imbroglio promises to be very, very special.  Believe me.  In any event, we bring you some of the memories from Resignation Day(s) past.
High Hopes
2015

Thanks Ed. That was a treat as always.  Always brings a tear to my eye and a snarl to my lip.  I hope you don’t mind if I add a verse or two for 2015…
Once more it’s that season, and Chrump’s on the job
That egotist, racist, orange-dyed slob.
He tweets and he lies, he’s insane and a dope
He poisons the atmosphere, murdering hope.
His best people left him, or else were smothered,
Bye Spicer, bye Pruitt, McMaster and others.
They came and they went, they’re off here and thar,
Now dash away! Dash away! Please dash away far!
So let’s watch in amusement, as they trip o’er their tongues
As they sputter and spew and expel from their lungs,
All the hot air and spittle, all the BS and blight,
For the chance to meet Clinton or Sanders for the big fight!

2016
Thanks I.  We enjoyed your addition for 2015 I.  And what a year it has been since last Resignation Day(s).  Bernie made quite a splash and Chrump took out all the trash.  It was truly a campaign to remember, now it’s on to November.  So I will see your 2015 verses and raise you a few for 2016 (with reverence and apologies to Ogden Nash)…

Managing Editor, Paying Attention
Once more it’s that season, Obama time’s near done
Each party’s wild primaries has narrowed to one.
Bernie lost to Hillary, but inspired revolution
Chrump bested all Republican’ts, and might end evolution.
Now East Coast, now West Coast, now swing states, Midwest!
Oh, Donald you suck it, tho you say you’re the best!
I never liked Clinton but I hope Chrump gets schlonged!
And goes back to his mirror, where’s he’s always belonged!
Let him talk, let him squawk, it’s politically suicidal,
Keep making voters nauseous, ere November’s decidal.
Keep insulting, and frothing, and hating, and screaming…
All the stuff of which anti-Chrumpers, tho pained are all dreaming!
Tiny hands, tiny brain, tiny what-the-fuck-ever,
You will lose very bigly and be president…NEVER
Go prepare your next bankruptcy, it’s what you do best
You whiny Tweet-aholic, and sanity’s pest
If I never see your hair-thing or hear your voice again,
I know I will not miss your face, but I’ll feel much less pain
Go away oh Orange Putz, away and out of sight
Close your pie-hole, hide yourself, for once just do what’s right.

2017

Hi folks, I. Mangrey here.
Well, that certainly did not work out the way most of the country – and the world – had hoped.  Now we are ensconced in the most bizarre, incompetent, chaotic shitshow of an administration since Caligula.  Unlike Chrump, Caligula is described as a noble and moderate ruler during the first six months of his reign.  After that he ramped up the cruelty, sadism, extravagance, and sexual perversity, and is remembered as an insane tyrant.  Der Furor wasted no time, in fact getting a head start, with his later-day Caligula-like behavior.  One can only wonder with paralyzing dread what the (hopefully short) remainder of Chrump’s tenure will visit upon us all.  I suppose I need to have one more go at updating this venerable old verse for 2017 while I can still think straight…
Impeachment in the air, now Chrump makes us sick
It seems he might kill us, get rid of him QUICK!
He’s angry and clueless, he tweets from his toilet,

The craziest nonsense. Our country, he’ll spoil it.

Now Jared! Ivanka, Pence, Sessions and Chrump!
On, Conway! On Bannon! Such miserable chumps!
They lie, they collude, they love Russia not us!
Now dash away! Dash away! Please leave in a huff!
Robert Mueller, grand jury – Oh please stop this lout
Get the dirt, make it public, then throw the bum out
Waste not one more moment, excise Donald Chrump,
And air out the White House, which he called “a Dump”.
The endless lies and insanity assaulting us all,
By Constitution, our right and our duty - this Chrump thing must fall.
So I say to you all, Power To The People, Out Of Sight,
More Impeachment to all, and to all a good-night!

Not Dicking Around – Resignation Day(s) 2018

Holiday Greetings From Everyone at Paying Attention

One Less Dick Never Hurt Anyone
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!
August 7, 2018
Hello loyal readers.  It’s me, Ed Venture.  As managing editor here at Paying Attention, it is my job at this time of year to remind you of our admittedly overzealous obsession with Richard Milhous Nixon, and to keep the Resignation Day(s) tradition alive.  As most of you are probably unaware, today is Erev Resignation Day(s) (or Resignation Day(s) Eve, depending on how you roll).  On the evening of August 8, 1974, crook, felon, anti-Semite, anti-First Amendment, Liberal-hating, secret-bomber, paranoiac, all-around uncommitted mental patient, increasingly alcohol-infused and then-president Richard M. Nixon, announced that he would be resigning as president after serving half of his second term in the People's House in order to avoid a term in the Big House.  He made it official the following day.
On August 8, 1974, what would later become the staff at Paying Attention, and a few fellow travelers, attended a Bonnie Raitt concert.  At one point, Bonnie stopped the show to announce that Richard Nixon had announced that he was going to resign the presidency, and broke into Auld Lang Syne, before returning to her regularly scheduled setlist.  Thousands of people were dancing in the streets.  Some celebrated by smoking marijuana from a bong fashioned to look like Dick Nixon.  This cannot be verified and was, of course, illegal.  That is, unless the president did it.
A young I. Mangrey in his Resignation Day(s) finery
Today we have a new mental patient pooping in the presidential sandbox.  You may have heard about this already.  I won’t go into all that right now.  The more things change, the more they stay the strange.  Anyway, Resignation Day(s) is one of my favorite American holidays.  A great day for democracy and as close as we get to a great day for justice in this country.  I snagged a photo of I. Mangrey (above) sporting one of his prized t-shirts to commemorate this festive time of year.  He and it are a bit wrinkled today, but the message is timeless.

While impeaching Nixon seems to be off the table at this point, we have a tremendously – some would say the most – impeachable prezident right under our noses, wedged inside our ears, and poking our eyes like long steel needles.  If it was good enough for Nixon, it is certainly good enough for this guy:
This fucking guy
I have never been a quitter," began Nixon during prime time on August 8, 1974, "To leave office before my term is completed is opposed to every instinct in my body…Therefore, I shall resign the Presidency effective at noon tomorrow. Vice President Ford will be sworn in as President at that hour in this office." Gerald Ford, Nixon’s hand-picked pardoner/successor took the oaf of office on August 9, 1974 capping off America’s only two-day national holiday. I still remember it well, to the best of my recollection.
And so I offer you this special phrase, to kids from one to ninety-two; and though it's been said, many times, many ways - Happy Resignation Day(s), Happy Resignation Day(s), Happy Resignation Dayyyy(s) to you.
Wishing you and yours all the best during this brief, fun-filled 44th anniversary of the finally-not-having-Dick-Nixon-to-kick-around-anymore holiday season.
Ed Venture
In 2006 I stumbled across a bit of this very old, well-know verse that I thought would be fun to share with everyone at this special time of year. It’s an age-old seasonal ditty and this being the eve of my favorite American holiday and all. I’m not sure I remembered all of the words correctly but I’ve rendered them to the best of my recollection, though I may have been overzealous and inadvertently added a few verses that didn’t exist at all. But, it’s full of holiday magic and joy – a favorite of children and adults throughout the ages, so read it to your children and grandchildren to keep this great American tradition alive. Now without further ado, in honor of August 8-9, 1974, a moment in history, which our Founders would surely have savoured, I bring you…

Twas the night before Resignation
Twas the night before Resignation, when all through the house
Richard Nixon was cornered, like a trapped diseased mouse.
His burglars had screwed it tho they burgled with care,
His cover-up in ruins, soon the end would be there.

The Congress were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of impeachment danced in their heads.
Sam Irvin with his gavel, exposed all the crap,
And roused our democracy from a long winter’s nap.

So all o’er the land there arose such a clatter,
Even the public could see what was the matter.
And there it was every day on TV like a flash,
Then everyone knew the president was trash.

It was hard to imagine this crook being regal
Tho he said, “If the president does it then it is not illegal.”
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But his lies all exposed and the end of his career.

A great day for democracy, it happened so quick,
What could be worse than that horrid old Dick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And all those were sentenced and each one by name!

"Now Haldeman! now, Erlichman! now, Mitchell and Dean!
On, Colson! On, Liddy!, oh my what a scene!
They all came a tumbling from the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"
‘Tis the eve of impeachment –Oh please just once more
So much fun to be had, who knows what’s in store,
This appointed dry-drunk liar with his head up his butt.
Must be ripped from the Peoples’ House and his prison door shut.

Yes we did it one time not so long ago
Said it couldn’t be done, well how could we know.
Who knows what can happen when clear thinking rules,
Maybe we can get rid of this new batch of fools.

A long train of abuses and usurpations once again stains us all,
By Constitution, our right and our duty - this Despot must fall.
Again let’s take back our nation from thieves,
Then lock them away and dispose of the keys.

It’s that time of the season, to excise George the king,
The land of the free and that sort of thing.
And I say to you all, Power To The People, Out Of Sight,
More Impeachment to all, and to all a good-night!

Enjoy Resignation Day(s) 2018.  Drink up – you know old Tricky Dick would.  Panic responsibly.
“The Dick is out but we’re still getting fucked.” sg, August 9, 1974
All the best from everyone here at Paying Attention.

The Gratingest Show on Earth

More Fun Than a Barrel Full of Junkies

August 5, 2018
I thought the days of the circus were over when Ringling Bros., et al folded up their tents and skulked out of town.  After decades of torturing elephants and parents, they finally took their three rings and stored them where the sun don’t shine.  Unfortunately, a new circus assaults our senses every minute of every day – The Ding-a-ling Bros. and Grabbin’-‘em Daily Circus.  P.T. Barnum famously said, “There's a sucker born every minute.”  Actually, this was said about him, not by him.  Nevertheless, our current circus proves this old saw beyond a shadow of a doubt.
This is a different kind of circus.  Oh sure, they still have elephants, but not the kind you would ever want your kids to be near or see.  These are some angry assed elephants, and not because they were incredibly intelligent creatures forced to work in deplorable conditions, while being mistreated by trainers and the like.  The elephants in the new circus did not need any help becoming angry.  They were vicious and deplorable all on their own, and there is no training these particular beasts.  They have been on a rampage since, well, since their species emerged from the primordial darkness.  They have just gotten angrier, more vicious and more deplorable with each passing election cycle.
There are clowns too, in this new circus, countless clowns, terrifying clowns that would scare the crap out of Stephen King – particularly The Ding-a-ling Bros. themselves.
The Ding-a-ling Bros. – Donny and Rudy
Hide your daughters…and theirs too

Our de facto Prezident, Sean Clownity
Ball of Collusion
Dan Coats, the Director of National Intelligence does not know, almost three weeks later, what his braindead boss discussed with Vladimir Putin, Chrump’s mentor and benefactor.  According to the reliable sources in my head, Chrump himself has only vague recollections of that two-plus-hour private exchange, and those recollections pertain only to his own “hair.”  Did Putin make pee-pee on Chrump’s chair?  Or were the translators forced to perform the task?  Was a mattress made available for that purpose?  Was it the mattress from the original pee tape?  Only four people know what went on in that room.  The only thing we do know is that Putin sported a huge shit-eating grin when it was over.  Chrump, for his part, had something else to wipe off his face.
Two pigs in a pod: SAD & Vlad

Some may call all of this FAKE NEWS, or a Witch Hunt, or a Hoax, or a Witch Hoax, or even a Hoax Hunt, or perhaps an Orange Herring.  For now, I will call it The Ding-a-ling Bros. and Grabbin’-‘em Daily Circus.
John Wayne Gacy was better entertainment than these clowns.

Zerothink

I Rest His Case

August 2, 2018
On the first episode of the Colbert Report back in 2005, Stephen Colbert coined the term “truthiness.”  Two days after the very, very poorly attended inauguration of the 45th president, Kellyanne Conjob brought us the unmitigated joy and loathing of “alternative facts.”  Ari Melber recently talked about “Chrumpwellian language”.  None of these people was the first to broach the subject of contorting the common tongue into near paralysis, verging on uselessness.
We are assaulted every single day by a tsunami of lies.  Mostly from one single, sociopathic, stunningly stupid schmuck.  Lies I tell you.  But, you knew that.  Everybody knows it.  Some ignore it, but it does not stop. And it hurts.  It hurts us all.  It is a lit match held to the fabric of our nation.

In 1949, George Orwell wrote 1984.  Orwell wrote it to warn people about the dangers of totalitarianism.  Donald Chrump is using it as an instruction manual.  Orwell coined the term doublethink: the ability to hold two completely contradictory thoughts simultaneously while believing both of them to be true.  Chrump seems to have made Orwell’s doublethink America’s official mindset.  His followers applaud wildly when he claims to have invented daylight two weeks ago, and applaud just as mightily when he says day is night and blames in on Hillary Clinton.  The media mostly plays along, afraid of angering Velveeta Vladimir.  After Kellyanne let the rat out of the bag with her claim that the Chrump administration had every right to present “alternative facts” when the factual facts proved inconvenient, 1984 shot up to #5 on Amazon’s best-seller list in 2017.

Der Furor heads his own real life Ministry of Truth, another Orwellian invention.  Chrump and his spokesliars will say anything that suits his demented ego, and are all too content tampering with our reality in favor of their alternative one.  An absolute master of doublethink, phrases like war is peace, freedom is slavery, Chrump is presidential, and “I have a very good brain” are now commonplace.
Chrump, immediately after telling reporters he did not want to talk about lying about writing the totally dishonest statement “explaining” Don Jr.’s treasonous meeting with Russian operatives in Chrump Tower, had this exchange with reporter Kristen Welker:
Welker: “Mr. president, about Don Jr., did you dictate the statement about Don Jr?”
Trump: “Let's not talk about it.”
Welker: “But can you tell us?”
Trump: “You know what that is? It's irrelevant. It's a statement to the New York Times, the phony, failing New York Times.” He shushed Welker's follow-up. “Just wait a minute, wait a minute.”
Welker: “To clear it up.”
Trump: “That's not a statement to a high tribunal of judges, understand? That's a statement to the phony New York Times. In fact, frankly, he shouldn't even speak to the New York Times because they only write phony stories anyway, although yesterday they wrote a nice story.”
Chrump thinks lying to the “phony, failing New York Times” is suitable, though he seems to acknowledge that it might be bad form to lie to “a high tribunal of judges.”  Presumably, he will decide that lying to Robert Mueller is acceptable, since Mueller is not a judge.  Not many people* know this, but if someone lies to Robert Mueller these days, they could conceivably end up spending a little quality time – and I do not mean front row seats to Hamilton – with a judge, maybe even a tribunal.  Chrump has truly earned the right to lie to Mueller as much as he wants.  About whatever he wants.  I look forward to watching him give this a try.
Zerothink
Chrump is maintaining a precarious balancing act between doublethink and Zerothink – a term coined just now by yours truly.  Zerothink is the power of spitting out lies with no beliefs of any kind, with wanton disregard for, well, for everything.  Zerothink requires an empty mind, but not the empty mind of Zen meditation.  It is the empty mind of thoughtlessness, vapidity, ignorance, hatred and pure, unadulterated idiocy.  It is the mind of Donald Chrump and his many empty-minded minions.  It is possible that Chrumpwellian language is a quantum stumble beyond Orwellian language.  Orwell thought it would take until 2050 for doublethink to become the status quo.  He seriously misunderestimated the human race, or at least Americans.

George Orwell’s famous 1940 – first-ever – mic drop

Chrump Fiction

The Walking Dumb

July 30, 2018

“These midterm elections have nothing to do with me.  I’m not running for anything.  I’m doing a great job.  The best job anyone has ever done, I would say, in history.  Everyone says so.  Even the failing New York Times.  But not CNN – FAKE NEWS.  The fakest ever.  They never say nice things about Chrump.  Anyway, my Republican’ts are going to win bigly because of the great job I’m doing making America great again.  I don’t need any help from Russia, but Russia, if you’re listening, don’t you dare interfere in our elections…unless you think it’s a good idea.  Stop helping all those Democrats or Chrump will kiss…I mean kick your ass.  No one is tougher on you guys than Chrump.  And you know it.  Everyone knows it.  I’m too busy to get involved in midterms, always was.  Finals too.  It doesn’t matter since I have a very good brain.  A very stable genius.  I’m so smart it’s scary.  If I can find the time, I will be campaigning six or seven, maybe even nine or ten days a week to make sure Crooked Hillary’s Democrats cannot get in my way.  Remember when I beat Hillary?  That was pretty amazing.  I will beat her again too.”
He once said he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and not lose a single vote.  It is clear at this point that he could shoot each and every one of his supporters, and if the shot was not fatal they would still vote for him.
“Stand up and be counted!"

One of the injured attendees brushed off attempts to assess her condition, and instead sought out reporters, “It is a blessing to be shot by such a great president.  He could have hit anyone, especially since he was screaming, “Lock her up, lock her up” while shooting blindly into the crowd.  Mr. Chrump was just telling it like it is, and showing the whole world that he is willing to shoot off more than just his mouth.  Paying attention Iran?  I may not feel great right now but I’ll be great again tomorrow.  All you fake newsers will report on is that Mr. Chrump – hallowed be his name – shot a bunch of people, not on the amazing Second Amendment that he demonstrated here today.  All of you are fake news and enemies of the state and you will pay for your sins.  You don’t see this kind of shooting in Russia.  They’re not allowed to have guns.  I believe that Putin wants to arm Russians, but the Russian congress won’t allow it.  Mr. Chrump wants to help Putin get a Second Amendment because he loves it so much he wants to share.  Talking to you is making me feel weak, because you are so fake.  Not because of the pool of blood at my feet.  It’s not my blood.  Probably not even blood.”  The woman then crumpled in a heap with a sickening thud – not nearly as sickening as her words.
Despite shrieking to the contrary, Der Furor is gearing up for the midterm elections.  There are reports that à la Nixon, Chrump is bringing in specialists to help “fix our elections.”  Since Cubans are not white enough, Chrump is thought to be bringing in Russians to safeguard the votes this November.  According to Chrump, “As everyone knows, I love our intelligence people – the best people.  That doesn’t mean they’re always right.  I think Russia did a great job not interfering in our rigged election.  I know I can trust them because Putin told me I could.  Very strongly and powerfully.  They know how to get my people fired up to vote.”  If there is one thing Chrump knows as well as anyone, it is how to play to his base.  He is a master baser.
I. Mangrey reloading.  Ask first, shoot questions later.

You Say Racist, I say Fascist

Let’s Call The Whole Thing Chrump

July 28, 2018
Do not adjust your set.  This is not a drill.  Do not duck.  Do not cover.  Do not go out into the hall, sit by the wall and put your head between your knees to protect yourself.  That trick never worked anyway.  Even though the Chrump phenomenon (which is only different in degree, not substance relative to the Republican’t Party) is the social movement equivalent of radiation poisoning, Bert the Turtle will not save us, just as it was originally nothing more than a diversionary public relations campaign.  Mitch the turtle will definitely not save us.  He has other priorities.

Chrump opened his campaign as a racist, with just a hint of fascism.  He preceded his campaign with virulent racism against America’s first black president.  We will ignore the constant perpetual lying about all of it, for the time being.  Chrump has made it safer and more acceptable to be a racist than it has been since the 1950s.  After all, if the president says some of the white nationalists, one of whom murdered a peaceful protester, “are very fine people,” well then, that’s gotta mean something.  And it surely does, just not what he wants it to mean.

As time passes, Il Douche displays more and more of his authoritarian – many would say fascist – tendencies.  Declaring the free press enemies of the people, insisting on locking up his opponents, threatening or firing anyone who displeases him.

Chrump is not alone, not by a mile.  Der Furor recently pardoned right-wing commentator Dinesh D’Souza, who was convicted of campaign finance violations – coincidently, one of the myriad crimes Chrump himself likely committed.  The consistently delusional D’Souza retweeted Twitter posts with the hashtags #burntheJews and #bringbackslavery.  He claimed it was an accident.  Probably what his parents are claiming about Dinesh.
Melania’s insensitively ignorant jacket, worn presumably to denigrate her husband’s kidnapped children, was much more than inappropriate.  The “I really don’t care” message was drawn from fascist sloganeering, and the jacket seller has a history of peddling such hate-wear.  Her spokesworm insisted it was all innocent, just a jacket.  Just as she knew what she was marrying, she was quite familiar with the message she whore wore.

Don Jr.’s new girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle – who just left Fux News to work for the Chrump campaign – posed for a photograph with a Pizzagate (which, if you are lucky, you have no idea what this is, and I will let you keep it that way) conspiracy theorist who was flashing a white nationalist sign for the occasion.  She didn’t mean anything by it.  As we all know, when a right wing nutjob wants to take a selfie with you, there really is no choice but to jump right to it.  I do it all the time, or I probably would if I was more of an asshole.  Interesting side note: according to reports, Guilfoyle was fired by Fux for showing pictures of male genitalia – and naming names – to coworkers.  The best people.
So many coincidences, so little time.

It is not fair to lay all of this at the bone-spurred feet of Don Chrump.  Let us not forget, today’s Republican’t Party was reborn out of the ashes of the Dixiecrats, who left their party over civil rights progress, and then Nixon’s Southern Strategy on the heels of LBJ pushing JFK’s further perceived incursions into white supremacy in America.  So, the GOP is not the party of Lincoln.  They are the party of racists who turned their backs on Lincoln – not saying every Republican’t is a racist, just that racism runs very deep in the heart of the party.  Not being judgmental, just honest.

Republican’ts have been much more honest since the atrocity they worked so hard to create began its campaign to Make America As Bad As Possible.  I recall during the campaign someone described many Chrump supporters as a Basket of Deplorables.  This was simply not the right thing to say.  No way that was a basket; it was garbage barge filled to overflowing.

He alone can fucks it

To pad his fascist resume, and taking a page out of Nixon’s playbook, Chrump also unveiled a list of enemies he wants to punish.  Chrump has his diaper all in a twist over several ex-government employees who have said mean things about him.  They will be added to the original list of enemies, the intelligence community (and intelligence in general), the free press, non-white people, most women, more than half of the American electorate and the truth – they all stand in his way.
I. Mangrey repairing.  I regret that Chrump has even one life to lose for his country.
