Bernie Sanders held a press conference yesterday
to finally call a turd a turd.
We now bring you a special Paying Attention (Over
The) Cliff Notes type interpretation of Sanders’ core message for the day:
It is time for Joe Manchin to tell us what
the fuck he actually wants to withhold from the American people in the very
popular Build Back Better Act or shut the fuck up and help 48 out of 50
Democratic senators to pass the fucking bill already.
One cannot help but wonder exactly what level
of preference Joe Manchin might exhibit for those particular apples, as the
saying goes.
A federal judge in Texas has temporarily
blocked the Texas abortion ban, finding in part, “That other courts may find a
way to avoid this conclusion is theirs to decide; this Court will not sanction
one more day of this offensive deprivation of such an important right.”
Texas is appealing. The ruling, that is.
