The Original Idiot President
There’s an old saying in
Russia...I know it’s in America, it’s probably in Russia...fool me once...oh
wait, wrong saying...If I have seen farther than others it is because I am
standing on the shoulders of giants. A humble, accomplished, person will
invoke this maxim, giving credit to those who laid the foundation of his or her
current accomplishments. Donald Chrump of course does not know the
meaning of the word humble (or most other non-four-letter words for that
matter). And strangely, even as prezident of the United States, he seems
spectacularly unaccomplished.
Chrump, even if he were
aware of the existence of anyone other than himself, let alone those who died
before he was born, would never credit anyone for anything. The
exceptions that prove the rule in this case would be the very strong leaders of
Russia and North Korea, both of whom Chrump credits with being strong and
saying nice things to him. More recently, Chrump has been trying to give
“credit” to Democrats for his horrific policy of snatching young children and
infants from their parents and banishing them to camps and cages all across
this country. Some people call this lying. Some people are less judgmental and simply
see this as the normal behavior of a sociopath.
Children as young as four years old have been compelled to defend
themselves in court. HFS. But, I digress.
FBI Deputy Director Rod
Rosenstein just announced another 12 indictments of Russians directly involved
in hacking the Democrats, sticking their electronic hands into our elections,
and directly communicating with people high up in the Chrump campaign. Chrump, nonetheless, is heading to Helsinki
to meet with his handler Putin, one assumes to give him the keys to the country
– not Finland, but America. Unless the
Chrumpublican party does a 180, and very soon, our democracy could be in
unprecedented jeopardy. But, I digress
again.
It is simply unavoidable
to be standing on the shoulders of those who came before any of us, one way or
another, whether intentionally or otherwise, with the exception of Don
Chrump. Chrump has indeed been standing on the shoulders of terrible
giants, like Roy Cohn, like Putin, like Fred Chrump. When it comes to the kind of great giants to
whom the saying refers – people like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson,
Abraham Lincoln – Chrump is not standing on their shoulders, but on their throats.
This is not because he is in any way grander than they were, but because he
kept kicking them in the nuts until they collapsed in agony.
Alas, poor Yokel! What the fuck is wrong with you?
