The hundredth monkey effect is a hypothetical phenomenon in
which a new behavior or idea is claimed to spread rapidly by unexplained means
from one group to all related groups once a critical number of members of one
group exhibit the new behavior or acknowledge the new idea.
On the heels of the Mueller testimony, more than a dozen
Democratic members of the House of Representatives joined the almost 90 who had
previously gone on record calling for the impeachment of the totally not
exonerated, master of Russian collusion, Donald Chrump. That puts the current number at more than
100.
Clearly, members of Congress are not monkeys, but hopefully
it is possible that they can learn almost as well and perhaps even as quickly
as their hairier cousins.
