More Troubled Every Day

America: Portrait In Black And White (and Orange)

June 2, 2020

“If you can only be tall because somebody’s on their knees, then you have a serious problem. And my feeling is white people have a very, very serious problem, and they should start thinking about what they can do about it. Take me out of this.”
                                 Toni Morrison, 1993

Yes. You. Racist. Always have been. We have the receipts.*
The psychotic moron masquerading as president – because he won the un-popular vote in 2016 – has continued his spouting of racist rhetoric, currently in response to the protests resulting from the recent torture/execution of George Floyd by four police officers in Minnesota. Chrump quoted racist Miami police Chief Walter Headley, who in 1967 used the phrase “when the looting starts, the shooting starts” during hearings about crime in Miami.
Chrump also excreted other racially charged words out of his face sphincter regarding fears that protesters outside the White House might come for him. “If they had, they would have been greeted with the most vicious dogs, and most ominous weapons, I have ever seen. That’s when people would have been really badly hurt, at least.” What, no fire hoses?
First Amendment in action in Washington, DC

Presumably in order to avoid murdering more black people outside the White House, Secret Service agents rushed Chrump into a safe bunker, as protesters hurled epithets, bricks and bottles toward the White House housing the Orange Gas Cloud. Right now, there are clearly no very fine people in the White House.

Send In The Maroons
Late Monday afternoon, police on horseback, heavily armed military police and Secret Service officers, park police and national guard teamed up to, very aggressively, if not in fact violently (it was in fact violently, including flash-bang grenades and teargas), cleared the streets near the White House of what a reporter on the scene described as “an entirely peaceful protest – not 90 percent, not 99 percent, but 100 percent peaceful protest here today.”
This of course, came on the heels of Chrump ranting at governors for an hour, calling them weak, telling them, “You’re making yourself look like fools,” and inciting them to “dominate” protesters. Chrump called protesters “terrorists,” demanding “retribution” and warned the governors they would look like “jerks” if they did not send them to “jail for long periods of time.”

For What It’s Worth
This latest display of violence by law enforcement against mostly black people began shortly before Chrump went on national television and threatened to employ the full force of the military to stop the violence, which has been committed by a tiny minority of protesters across the country in recent days. Not one word by this brutal sociopath, about black people in America living in a state of constant fear of being killed by police for selling a cigarette, or possibly passing a counterfeit $20 bill, or just being black. This chickenshit racist bastard who it should be recalled hid from military service behind fake bone spurs – receiving five deferments, tying him with fellow brutal sociopath Dick Cheney – and who told Howard Stern in 1993, “Dating is like being in Vietnam. You're the equivalent of a soldier going over to Vietnam. I've been so lucky in terms of that whole world. It is a dangerous world out there – it's scary, like Vietnam. Sort of like the Vietnam era. It is my personal Vietnam. I feel like a great and very brave soldier.”
A recent poll found that 52 percent of Americans responded yes when asked if they thought Donald Chrump is a racist; 37 percent said no. Apparently, around 37 percent of Americans are racists.
Maybe Chrump considers himself a person of color.
I’m pretty sure dying oneself orange does not count.*
