Naturally, the use of the image in an
announcement of a new county chairman was not the end of the sordid affair. Can
you say copyright infringement?
The image was created two years ago by
illustrator Woody Harrington, and was originally used in a Mother Jones article
titled, “The Republican Party is Racist and Soulless. Just Ask This Veteran GOP
Strategist.”
As you would expect, the image was used without attribution, permission or compensation.
