Bad Blood

Spite Club: Sometimes The Big Fight Is Inside Your Head

January 10, 2020
Apparently, top Pentagon officials provided Chrump with a range of options of things to do when you’re bored, prior to the drone strike assassination of Soleimani.  After the fact, they claimed to be “flabbergasted” and “stunned” that Chrump chose the option he did – the most severe, perhaps catastrophic.  Really?  The guy who has been tweeting threats against just about everyone with brainless abandon since day one, the guy who has zero concept of consequences, who cannot imagine planning more than three seconds ahead, the guy who does not acknowledge the validity of anything outside of his own shoes?  How stupid and/or full of shit are these advisors?
Side note: When you see photos of Chrump pretending to listen at important meetings, why is it that the look on his face is the same look on your cat’s face when you try to explain Chrump to her.

Now, the medieval regime in Iran, wants to make, not just Iran, but the whole world great again.  Like Chrump, who wants to make America great again – that is, back when white men walked upright and ruled the land, free of any substantial interference by people who were differently hued, the theocrats of Iran want to take the entire world back to the good times they prefer – the Middle Ages.  Like Chrump, they must respond with a show of strength, or seem weak.

I don’t know about you, but I am not that interested setting my clock back 1000 years.  It takes me longer and longer to adjust to daylight savings time these days.
There is so much bad blood out there.  It is hard to tell which is more intense, the bad blood between Chrump and Iran or that between Chrump and Obama.  Barack Obama, of course, has not engaged in any of this since the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Dinner where the thin-skinned, humorless, orange mutant proved he could not take a punchline.  It appears that the beef Chrump has with the Obama-living-in-his-mind is the impetus for most of Chrump’s policy decisions – particularly when it comes to Iran.
