Lev Well Enough Alone

He Said, Who Cares

January 17, 2020
I am looking forward to Moscow Mitch McConnell’s rationale for ignoring the wave of evidence from Rudy Giuliani’s close associate, the currently indicted Lev Parnas.  Parnas worked directly for Rudy Giuliani and by definition for Donald Chrump in their efforts to defraud America by extorting Ukraine.  Parnas appears to have a truckload of evidence that is less than helpful if one is trying to prove that Chrump did nothing but make perfect phone calls.

Parnas has in fact made it clear that Donald Chrump knew more about the illegal operation to withhold Congressionally-approved funds from Ukraine in exchange for damaging Chrump’s opponent than Richard Nixon knew about the Watergate break-in to damage his opponent.  Nixon famously ran screaming into the night rather than face what Chrump now faces – a Senate impeachment trial.
I can hear McConnell now, “My fellow Americans, we simply cannot trust anything we see or hear from Mr. Parnas.  The reason is very simple.  Mr. Parnas is an unsavory character of the lowest degree.  His accusations, physical evidence, even the fact that much of what he told interviewers has been corroborated by countless other witnesses, cannot be taken at face value.  This does not mean however, that the Senate will in any way try to ascertain the facts in this matter, not for one single second.  Just look at the people he associates with.  One of Parnas’ known associates is whacky conspiracy theorist and all-around nut-job, who constantly admits to crimes on television and is currently under criminal investigation by the Southern District of New York – Rudy Giuliani.  Giuliani, as you know has been the personal attorney for one of the most dishonest, anti-American, Russian sympathizers – beside me of course – the unrepentant sociopath and frequent companion of Parnas – Impeached-president Donald Chrump, who is now on trial in the Senate.  Until proven otherwise, by evidence I personally will be refusing to look at, there is simply no way Parnas can be considered a credible witness.  If you have any further questions on this matter, I suggest you shut the fuck up.  I’m Mitch McConnell and I run this town.”

Igor Fruman, Lev Parnas and two very unsavory characters, and if you zoom out…

Pictures of Chrump with Lev Parnas, the man he never met or knew
It is entirely possible that Lev Parnas, proprietor of a company called “Fraud Guarantee” and recently indicted on campaign finance violations, is lying about some or all of his claims.  Except, most if not all of what Parnas is saying aligns neatly with the dozen-plus career diplomats whose sworn testimony ultimately led to the impeachment of Donald Chrump.  Every single witness in a position to exonerate Chrump was prohibited from testifying by Chrump himself.  Every. Single. One.
While it is possible that Parnas is lying, it is dead certain that Rudy Giuliani and Mitch McConnell (and Bill Barr – hold on, he’ll be here in two sentences) are lying.  And it is an irrefutable fact that Donald Chrump is constitutionally incapable of telling the truth about anything.

If you see the ringleader of this criminal enterprise,
protect your scruples, your reputation and your pussy

It also turns out that Attorney General Bill Barr has been sitting on all the documents, phone records and other evidence Parnas recently shared with House investigators for several months.  Barr could not have known that Parnas was planning to hand over his documents and likely hoped it would all just disappear.  Parnas himself only recently came to repossess his personal effects, which had been confiscated when he was arrested at the airport before attempting to board his one-way flight to Vienna, shortly after lunching with Giuliani at a Chrump property.
